Lucas survived his first contact with solid food haha. Mommy bought him some whole grain, organic rice cereal and he..did NOT like it. but he lived, thats all that matters.
He also got his shots and i finally got his weight and height:

he weights 18.5 lbs (!!)
he is 27 inches long

and he is a healthy, happy baby, thats all that matters. here with my little Playground Pimp at Amy's House.

My little Munchkin will be 5 month on my birthday (April14th) and i cannot believe how fast time passed by. he is teething right now and really grumpy so NOTHING seems to help.
My Sis in law had her baby shower last saturday She looks great, all belly. she barely gained any weight and i am happy she is healthy. She is expecting a little baby girl, Liana Frances Soto.
I LOVE the name frances but first of all, NO MORE KIDS FOR ME!!! and second, i think i just have boys haha, I think i am not made for having girls (do not repeat that o paul, he secretly wanted a girl:-))

Ok, my little Lucasman is 4 month old and he got his first pair of shows...40 dollars for a friggin pair of Nike Jordans!!!oh well, thats the first andonly time he ever gets shoes, hell walk barefood until he goes to college hahahaha
i also scheduled an appointment for his 4 month shots on monday, i hope he wont cry as much as he did the first time. thank god i wasnt there, paul went in there with him.

Lucas is over three month old and he is being a GOOD baby..we still wait for our first rash or sickness:-) he is a happy, healthy baby.
He can lift his head up and hold it, he likes sitting up and looking around...and he is blowing bubbles. He is a bog boy, thats for sure (he wears 3-6 month!!sometimes 6-9!!!)
Paul and i will take him to San Diego this Friday to visit my friend Stephanie and her Husband Chris. Chris is in the Navy and Steph promised to show me the Naval Base and the ships..it will be Lucas' first trip and i am so excited!!!

Ok, Lucas slept almost 10 hours last night and i am refreshed enough to post some more pictures
I start working on friday and i dont know how well i will handle being away from my baby
So much has changed in our relationship and i fee much better now than i felt since Lucas was born.
I watched a stupid movie today, some flick from the 80ties, but the girl in that movie had a post-partum issue like i had and she tried and write down her thoughts. i dont know the exact words but i can put it in my own words
"it is like they rip out a part of you and you forget everything about how it was to be young and careless"

And then she hears a guy standing in front of her window, she is alone and just her and the baby.
And all of the sudden, her motherly instincts kick in and she holds her baby and tries to defend it.

thats the same with me and Lucas, i had to be worried about him to realize how much he means to me. and even though it took so long, i realize how much i love my :little man" and that i am here to protect him

...ok, too much LOL, too cheesy...i know, but i just wanted to share that with you guys

Lucas tried to roll on hi stomache, he is half way there. he also smiles pretty much al the time he hears my voice and he loves standing up. i do not want to bragg but my child tried to stand on his own feed (i hold him up, on his hands or upper body) when he was 1 month old. he always had the urge to stand on his feed and he puts hs whole body weight on his legs. He can hold that position for good 5 seconds without wiggling and shaking..i am proud of my little athlete :-)

My little Lucas is a little over 2 month old and he is almost old enough to sleep i his own crib. Paul will fix the nursery when i go back to work.
He is still a good baby but gets really fussy in the afternoon because he fights the sleep. I still think it could be worse.

well, today was Lucas' Doctor's appointment and he got his vaccination..my poor little man screamed like someone was after him and wanted to kill him, he was so mad:-((

This is him after the appointment..maybe he was only mad because his favorite football team lost the playoff game..hmmm who knows LOL
