i dont have a child..i have a smurfbear (ein Schlumpfbaer auf gut deutsch) LOL...this is me and my little one...



lUCAS IS almot 2 month old and i am planning to retunr to work in 3 weeks. it will be hard but i think itis the best for us, financialwise. i kinda look forward to go back to work, i like having a tight schedule and a lot to do..i am a workaholic i guess lol

I hope everybody had a great time.I though Lucas would stay awake with us but he crashed around 9 and woke up at 2am...one hour after i went to bed, i should have known better. He was up most of the might because he had a stuffed nose. The poor little guy.
he is ok though and enjoys the new addition to his toys and play-thingies...the gym!!

Today, dec 28th...Lucas smiled at me and my husband, intentionally and as a response to our smile. He also laughed back at us. I cannot believe how emotionally you can get over a smile.

That everybody gives me a pityful look when i tell them i had a c-section..like it is a bad thing.

My Baby could have had long term damages to his brain without the C section and i could have blaimed myself for that.

I could have had complications and still struggle with the consequences without my c section.

does it look good...i dont know, does it matter???

I figured, it is my body and i can make EVERYTHING look good

...so, women out there, the ones that think it is not a REAL birth unless you squeeze it out of you!
my baby is the real deal LOL

Lucas is one month old and finally, we have some kind of routine.
he goes to bed between 10pm and Midnight, wakes up around 2-3am and then another time around 6-7am....thats when my day starts LOL, so i think we are doing pretty well with the sleeping routine.

He also had a weight in and he wights a little over 10 lbs now, he also grew an inch, which makes him 22.5 inches...i think.

i also took pictures of him last night, when he was awake. he discovered his fingers and hands and has fun grabbing things.
He is a very strong baby, he pushes his legs when i feed him and almost stands up LOL, it looks funny.
I also started tummy time, but only 5 min every day, he kinda likes it..but then, he kinda likes everything, he is an easy baby, i am happy that everything is ok and that we dont struggle as much as i thought we would.

Mafia and Bruno like him, they dont mind him being around.
Bruno gets happy when he sees him, mafia just does not care and ignores him.

i do not know, how much a baby suppose to eat but he sure does eat a lot! that makes the whole feeding situation more difficult but i do my best to get him the food he needs. I prefer breast milk but sometimes do have to do formula supplement feedings

My mom and Brother came to see me for 10 days and they left Friday early morning. it broke my heart and i still miss them, too much if you ask me. I want Lucas to get to know his German family as much as possible. it is important to me because i will raise my son based on the way my parents raised me..a good way, if you ask me.

C-Section after 9 hours of labor and 4 misplaced Epidural needles

well, my little man is 3 weeks old and so far everything is going pretty well..
no collic, rashes, major crisis or breakdowns.

i am back at my pre-pregnancy weight...you cannot eat when you have a child, i simply do not have the time.

the pumping goes...ok, i cannot pump fast enough for the little "bottomless baby" haha. but every time he gets my milk, it benefits him so i will continue pumping.
